What is samples?

1.Why can't most factories achieve "samples = bulk goods"?

Minoze Lighting reply: Samples and mass production are originally two completely different systems. The problem that many factories encounter is that during the sample production stage, they are the best workers, the slowest pace, the most meticulous polishing, and the strictest inspection. However, after entering mass production, what they provide is: ordinary assembly line workers, shortened construction periods, reduced process time, and a greater focus on delivery speed. Often, the final result is that the sample turns out to be a perfect "work of art", while the bulk goods become "assembly line products"!

Many factories often adopt a "cost-ignoring" production approach during the sample stage, only pursuing visual effects without conducting cost assessments and process planning in advance in accordance with mass production standards. As a result, after entering mass production, in order to cut costs, it was necessary to lower material standards or simplify processes, which ultimately led to a decline in product quality and a significant difference from the sample effect. At the same time, the lack of complete production scheduling and project duration management in the early stage also makes it easy to compromise on process details temporarily due to the rush to meet deadlines in the later stage of the project, resulting in problems such as color differences, inconsistent processes, and unstable overall quality in bulk products.

For Minoze Lighting, a truly professional factory, we will first establish a "mass production consistency system", not just QC. For each purchaser, a complete consistency control chain will be established from sample -> trial production -> mass production -> replenishment. We have standards and a "sample sealing system" for the lamp body structure, surface treatment, lighting, packaging, numbering, archiving, labeling, and process parameters. Before mass production, engineers will control costs and need to have a thorough understanding of the processes of each processing plant. They also need to calculate the production time and processes of each component.

Note: Regarding sample fees: Minoze will charge three times the sample fee. For bulk orders, we will charge a return sample fee (the minimum order quantity for bulk orders must be over 100 to be eligible for a return), and for sample making, the minimum order quantity must be 50.

Delivery time: 3 to 7 weeks, depending on the project quantity.

MOQ: We do not have a minimum order quantity.

2. How long do led lights last?

To determine how long led lights can last, it is first necessary to ensure the consistency of the lights. Some factories do not implement BIN management, which may lead to an imbalance in the consistency of the lights. For instance, for a product with the same color temperature range of 3000K, some may appear overly white, yellowish, bright, or even dull.

Minoze Lighting will first unify the bins to ensure that all the lights come from the same color temperature range. Before shipment, they will also be lit one by one to test the color temperature, brightness and dimming effect (all based on the unlit lighting environment). Secondly, establish a BIN record file to ensure the consistency of future replenishment! Regarding Finish Consistency, for each mass production, samples are made according to the standard color template, as well as having fixed electroplating parameters, brushing reverse and texture.

"Anyone can make a beautiful sample. The real challenge is making 500 pieces exactly the same."Minoze Lighting, "Our production system is built specifically to ensure sample-to-mass-production consistency."

Engineering Capabilities

1.What does engineer does?

As engineers of Minoze Lighting, they have over 16 years of working experience in the lighting industry. Regarding drawing modification, our engineers with many years of experience can carry out the modification in real time and complete it within one day. Provide detailed answers on CAD engineering support, technical and detailed drawing, customization capabilities and lighting solutions, as well as technical modification capabilities. Detailed information is provided, including the understanding of standard ETL VS UL certification and the final installation instructions.

At Minoze, when a project is completed, we first check whether the parameters and the renderings match. If the parameters do not match the photos, we will communicate with the client promptly and efficiently. For the surface treatment to be achieved, our engineers need to carefully check it over and over again and have detailed communication with the color factory to see if a consistent color can be achieved.

Our Minoze model room has a large number of color palettes of various colors. When the customer sends the color palettes over, we will conduct a screening and find the ones that exactly match. If there are no consistent color palettes, we will take out the sample color palettes to confirm with the customer whether they meet the ideal expectations.

For complex conceptual designs, our engineers' top priority is to reproduce them perfectly. When manufacturing processes cannot accommodate the design, we prioritize aesthetics in our design approach; without altering the appearance, we prioritize designing lighting fixtures with simple, easy-to-install structures. When producing drawings, we take multiple design factors into account, including the perfect replication of the appearance, ease of installation (the most convenient installation path for hotels), and compact packaging that ensures safety while minimizing shipping costs (our packaging uses integrated foam packaging that allows for mixed loading and volume compression, and our carts are made of 5-layer corrugated cardboard).

For special fragile items, we use wooden crates or wooden frames for packaging. Our engineers are highly experienced and fully proficient in various materials (copper, iron, aluminum, silver, stone, fabric, glass, wood, resin, acrylic, diffuser panels, PVC, PP, PE, marble, jade, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, etc.), colors (electroplating, vacuum plating, anodizing, spray painting, powder coating, copper staining), welding, laser cutting, heat bending, and bending, among other processes. We are fully capable of flawlessly executing even the most complex lighting fixture manufacturing processes.

For the structural design of a light fixture, our engineers develop multiple design proposals and select the optimal structural solution. This ensures a flawless appearance while facilitating easy installation and transportation, enabling mass production of bulk orders.

When a client requests design drawings, we must provide conceptual drawings within three days. During this process, we create these drawings based on the final production specifications rather than producing them arbitrarily, to ensure the finished products match the drawings.

After providing the conceptual drawings, if there are any discrepancies or uncertainties, we will confirm and communicate with the client.

Delay For Delivery

In the hotel industry, when it comes to delivery delays—specifically delays in lighting fixture delivery—Minoze Lighting believes that lighting fixtures are not isolated products, but rather an integral part of the entire project. If lighting fixtures are delayed, it will result in a delayed hotel opening, financial losses, and a host of other negative consequences. When you choose Minoze Lighting, we won't make empty promises like some factories do—promising a "45-day delivery" just to secure an order, and focusing solely on the fact that our factory has fast turnaround times. Such an approach often leads to delays in custom products, quality control rework, and procurement delays due to material shortages, ultimately affecting the entire hotel's construction schedule. At Minoze Lighting, we believe the real focus should be on "how we can manage risks," "how we can keep the project on track," and "how we can minimize the risk of delays." This is what we consider our most important core principle!

1. What is a Project Timeline?

How does Minoze Lighting approach this?

First, We establish a comprehensive "Project Timeline." For every order, we create a detailed schedule that breaks down each phase into specific timeframes, listing every detail so clients can see everything at a glance!

Second, for clients who place orders with Minoze Lighting, we proactively update them on project progress rather than waiting for them to follow up. Furthermore, we proactively provide weekly updates on current progress, including photos, production completion rates, and estimated shipping dates.

Of course, if we encounter unforeseen issues that might delay production—such as insufficient plating capacity or packaging risks—Minoze Lighting will notify the customer in advance, patiently address every concern, and present alternative solutions and adjusted plans to ensure things proceed smoothly.

Of course, when providing delivery schedules, we take into account various factors, including estimated durations for drawing preparation, raw material processing, polishing, color finishing, and assembly. During production, we monitor progress in real time while ensuring quality control, guaranteeing that every stage is delivered on schedule. For example, see the table below:

Product Stage Time
Production Drawings 1 - 3 days
Raw Material Preparation 2 - 3 days
Injection Molds 20-40 days
Laser Welding, Bending, Metal Forming 3-5 days
CNC Machining 2 - 3 days
Wire Cutting 2 - 3 days
Woodwork, Glass, and Acrylic Fabrication 2 - 3 days
Color Finishing 2 - 3 days
Polishing 2 - 3 days
Assembly 3 - 5 days
Sample Approval 3-15 days (without mold fabrication)
Mold Making (glass, resin, spin-forming molds) 5-7 days

Note: Since each process is different, the total processing time varies accordingly. The time required also depends on the quantity of the order; the exact duration will be assessed and calculated based on the total order. For rush orders, we can expedite the process for certain items. We are committed to delivering only the highest quality products.

Quality Control Vs Assurance

1.why is quality control important?

In a hotel lighting project, what truly warrants close scrutiny is not production issues, but rather the delays and risks to the hotel's opening. After on-site installation can trigger a chain of consequences—including the need for redoing, unstable reinstallation by electricians, in the early stages. Quality control and continuous checks means conducting quality control. Many issues that arise are due to unstable or substandard materials in the packaging materials. During production, assurance checks must be conducted on incoming materials-including LED color temperature, driver parameters, plastic components, and packaging materials.

Prior to shipment, Minoze Lighting conducts comprehensive, dimensional and structural inspections to prevent each product from advancing to the next stage. Quality control must ensure consistent appearance on the engineering's consistency. When a piece of lighting is to be produced, our engineers must consider multiple design aspects. Structural design must ensure strict control over every step of installation. During this process, engineers must have a full understanding of all material practices and manufacturing specifications, maintaining inspection before mass production begins. During each phase, the drawing requirements must be proceeding to the next stage. Engineers must provide guidance during assembly and production. Quality control personnel must inspect each component before each inspection before assembly. At every stage, a sample must be produced to ensure that the various luminaires are assembled according to standards. Quality control personnel inspect every unit, including packaging drop tests, aging tests, and more.

Professional Lighting

The most essential requirement for a lighting manufacturer is extensive professional knowledge of lighting. Whether it's a single light fixture or a hotel project, without understanding the Color Rendering Index (CRI), dimming compatibility, or the importance of ambient lighting, let alone grasp the fundamentals of the lighting industry.

Without this expertise, the color rendering principles, construction, or solutions for hotel lighting will all compromise guests' comfort and overall experience.

In contrast, if a company lacks professional lighting expertise brightness whether at night in a hotel setting will compromise guests' comfort and what is commonly referred to as "impact lighting" with functional lighting, ensuring a comfortable stay. With authentic photos and videos experience.

"Not just lighting manufacturing—reliable hotel project execution. And the exceptional quality all around, unique original designs, and the engineering expertise of experienced professionals, we provide original hotel lighting solutions. Choose Minoze Lighting—a supplier you can rely on and trust, a supplier that ensures your project runs smoothly!"
